Golden Grove Fishery is divided into five beats of approximately two miles each mostly double bank. Some of the beats are let privatly while others are let to season rods. Some part-weekly tickets are sometimes available The lower boundry is two miles below Dryslwyn Castle while its upper boundary is below Llandeilo bridge. The fishery has excellent water for night and day fishing for sea trout and good holding pools for salmon The best year in the 1980’s
produced a total declared catch of 9,580 sea-trout with an average weight
