Wild Trout Trust

Charitable organisation dedicated to the conservation of wild trout in Britain and Ireland through the protection and restoration of their habitats

The ACA’s are a unique organisation which fights pollution and other damage to water environments throughout the UK. Water pollution kills hundreds of thousands of fish each year which has a huge impact on local economies, aquatic wildlife and the enjoyment of angling clubs.

Now is a single-focus, not-for-profit organisation founded at a meeting in Athlone on 24 July, 2004. Representatives of the main game angling federations, fishery owners and tourism interests came together to campaign for the ending of the single largest threat to the survival of the Atlantic salmon - drift netting for salmon at sea

Carmarthenshire Fishermens Federation CFF represents the interests of 12 angling clubs, private owners, and Individual Members. In total, some 3000 regular anglers are involved, a further 3000 visitors fish each year. CFF is a wholly voluntary organisation, making no claim to be ‘a governing body’
